1. Information We Collect

When you create an account on ArchHive, we collect:

• Account Information: Full name, email address, and encrypted password.
• Profile Information: Avatar image, biography, university, and professional headline.
• Financial Information: Payment details are processed directly by Razorpay. We never store your full card number.
• Project Data: Renders, 3D models, and architectural files you upload. You are responsible for ensuring personal metadata (e.g., EXIF data) is stripped prior to upload.
• Usage Data: Pages visited, searches made, and projects viewed to improve platform recommendations.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and profile.
• To process purchases, escrow payments, and tutor payouts via Razorpay.
• To display your uploaded projects and tutor profile to other users.
• To send you platform notifications (escrow updates, messages, reviews).
• To mediate disputes between students and tutors through our Admin panel.

3. Data Storage & Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Razorpay: For payment processing and seller identity verification (KYC).
• Supabase: Our backend infrastructure provider. Premium users' files are hosted securely here.
• Other Users: Your public profile name, avatar, skills, and reviews are visible on your tutor or seller profile.
• Third-Party Hosts (Free Tier): Standard users must link to external providers (e.g., MEGA.nz). Files hosted externally are subject to that provider's privacy policy, not ours.

4. Escrow & Financial Data

All payments are processed through Razorpay. ArchHive acts as a facilitator and does not hold funds directly. Transaction records (amounts, dates, contract IDs) are stored in our database for dispute resolution and accounting purposes.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Account Settings page. Upon deletion, your profile, projects, and personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Transaction records may be retained for legal and accounting compliance for up to 7 years.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and store currency preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
